Food recovery and redistribution
Moray Food Plus takes quality supermarket waste and other surplus foods and redistributes them to community groups and other food related projects.
Community larders
Moray Community Food Hub is working with those experiencing food insecurity to offer dignity and choice in crisis food provision by developing community larders, for example, within homeless units.
Between April 2024 and March 2025 almost 28 tonnes of quality surplus food was recovered and redistributed to 15 community groups in Moray.
